During my recent escape to Bed And Breakfast Belvedere, I was treated to a delightful blend of comfort and Tuscany's charm. The staff welcomed us like old friends, and I found the rustic setting in the medieval hamlet to be a fitting backdrop for my explorations with my family. While the mezzanine bedroom was a tad cramped with its low ceiling, the spaciousness of the main area made up for it, especially with the comfort of anatomic mattresses that ensured a good night's sleep after our daily adventures. The highlight, however, was the on-site restaurant; indulging in handmade tortelli and a variety of local cheeses while overlooking the picturesque view was an authentic Italian experience I'll treasure. This beautifully renovated stone house, with its wooden floors and charming decor, reminded me of the vast landscapes we often explore in East Africa, albeit with a much different vibe.
